COURSE OBJECTIVES AND REQUISITES:
This course follows the description, objectives, and outcomes, and provides the requisites explained in the First-year Composition Guide 2nd Edition, pages 1-4.
GRADING PERCENTAGES: Your grade for the course is broken down as follows:
Weekly Responses on Blackboard (solo) [REVIEW handout on how these are scored] – 30%
One test on course content (group and solo)– 20%
Paper 1: Project Storyboard and Presentation (group and solo) -- 20%
Paper 2: Final Paper (5-7 pages) (solo)– 30%
You must complete all assignments to be eligible to receive a passing grade in the course. I do not accept late papers or assignments.
GRADING CRITERIA
I’ll grade your papers using the criteria explained in the First-year Composition Guide.
